About Me
I was born and raised in Puerto Rico, but I have an unhealthy obsession with all things France and all things India… I love the French language (though I’m still struggling to learn it) and I’m just intrigued by the Indian culture and food.
Growing up, I always loved making things. From Barbie-sized cakes created out of soda bottle caps and paint, to miniature houses out of shoe boxes. I always had a little composition notebook filled with sketches and in High School went through a fashion design phase. In college, however, is where I finally was able to unite my passion for art and love of computers.
Since then, I’ve been a graphic and web designer, but if you ask nicely, I’ll consider designing your next outfit! :-)
Inspiration for PGD
I have a full time job as a graphic designer for an agency in Manhattan, but I enjoy having my own business where I can explore new areas of design not covered in my day job. It allows me to expand my portfolio and work on projects that may not have been worked on in a larger agency. As owner of the company, I can choose to take projects that I personally find rewarding.
A Random Fact
If not for it sounding too much like my mother’s name, I would have been named Audrey.
